Police from the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica and Transit District 20 are looking for a suspect who allegedly groped a woman inside the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer subway station last week.

Police say a 28-year-old woman was walking through the station around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, when the suspect began following her. He proceeded to grab her rear end and continued to follow her through the station asking her if she liked it, police said.

The victim ran away from the man and no injuries were reported.

The NYPD released a surveillance photo of the suspect and described him as having a medium complexion. He was seen wearing a light-blue hooded sweatshirt under a gray fleece jacket and black gloves. He was carrying a blue bag with a black shoulder strap.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
