The 80s have been making a comeback, and if you can’t get enough of that decade’s unforgettable music, don’t miss White Wedding’s totally radical 80s tribute show, happening Saturday evening, Dec. 23, at Resorts World New York City.

Celebrate the holiday season and party all night — like it’s 1985! — at Bar 360 inside Resorts World (first come, first serve). Talented bandmembers JC Keys (keyboards; White Wedding’s owner/manager), David DiLorenzo (lead and rhythm guitar; toured with The Party Dolls throughout the 90s), Kerri Freda (bass player), Dave Previ (drummer), Veronica Scorcia (lead female vocalist from Howard Beach), and lead vocalist Dave Artiaga, pour their hearts and souls into the band’s fun throwback performances, as they bring the 80s back to life for their audiences. No wonder they’ve been voted Best of the Boro’s Best Cover Band in Queens by fans, four years in a row (2020 – 2023); and they’re hoping to win that title again in 2024!

No matter what generation you’re from, you’ll be singing along and rockin’ out to the nostalgic hits you know and love — by The B52s, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, White Snake, The Police, Cyndi Lauper and Guns ‘N Roses, just to name a few. And Billy Idol could be making a guest appearance — if only in spirit!

White Wedding is a full costume and character show band, performing as all the great artists of the 80s, such as Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Madonna, and Journey.

“I’m excited about this show because I love playing in my hometown after traveling around a lot…no place like home,” said Keys, who lives in Glendale. “Resorts has been our Queens showcase for eight years. We love playing there ‘cause that’s our ‘home base,’ where people can see us perform live. Never a cover charge!”

A veteran piano man for 30-plus years, Keys has been leading the Whitestone-based band for over a decade and noted that his biggest influences are Elton John and Billy Joel. Currently, he also performs as Elton John for JC and the Crocodiles (Elton John tribute band).

“We bring the 1980s back to life, as well as the 1990s — which we will perform in the second set at Bar 360,” he said, adding, “Which team are you on?”

White Wedding, which got their name from one of Billy Idol’s signature hits, has appeared at numerous summer concerts in the Tri-State area. The popular band has performed in Manhattan at the Cutting Room, Highline Ballroom, Gramercy Theatre, and Irving Plaza, where they opened for Biz Markie two years in a row. And Keys, who opened for Solange Knowles at the Brooklyn Bowl, remembered that Beyoncé came in at the end of the night.

“I love playing to my hometown crowd! It gives me a chance to stay with my family when I get to play at Resorts,” said Scorcia. “I now live in Manhattan, but my family still lives in Howard Beach, and they always come down to see us at Bar 360.” Keys added: “The 80s is definitely the best decade of music. It’s positive vibes all the time!”
