In a stroke of luck for one Ozone Park shopper, the New York Lottery has announced that a local business sold a second-prize-winning ticket for Tuesday evening’s Mega Millions drawing.
The lucky ticket, worth a whopping $1 million, was purchased at 88 Liberty Wine and Liquor located at 88-17 Liberty Ave. in Ozone Park
Mega Millions drawings are televised every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Winning numbers are chosen from a field of 1-70, with the Mega Ball being drawn from a field of 1-25.
