NYC Parks Department is hosting a free “Movies Under The Stars” summer movie program, screening some of the biggest blockbuster films. From fun, action-packed films like “Kung Fu Panda 4” to romantic comedies like “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 4,” the big screen has come to Queens through the rest of the summer. Screenings are catered to residents of all ages and vary from PG to PG-13 ratings.
Residents are advised to bring blankets and snacks for the family-friendly event, but glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, the screening may be canceled. The event cancellation will be made before the screening and posted on the NYC Parks website.
