Permits have been filed for the construction of a 6-story mixed-use building with 99 total residences, including 25 affordable units, at 122-21 14th Ave. in College Point.

The proposed building would be 74 feet tall, with 74 housing units at market rate and 25 affordable housing units. The building would yield 81,989 total square feet, with 75,269 square feet of residential space and 6,729 of commercial space. The apartments will have an average unit scope of 760 square feet.

Other planned features of the property include a cellar, a penthouse and 50 enclosed parking spaces. There are several bus stops in the area, which provide service for the Q25, Q65, Q20A and Q20B lines. Another notable nearby feature is College Point Park,which sits near a busy stretch of College Point Boulevard lined with commercial businesses, retail shops, and restaurants.

Demolition permits have not yet been filed for the parking lot currently occupying the site, and no estimated completion date for the new building has been announced.
