Pure Spa & Salon, a popular Sunnyside hair and beauty shop, is closing down its 40-15 Queens Blvd location in November and reopening at the City View Racquet Club by 33rd Street in Long Island City.
The move to City View Racquet Club, a high-end sports facility that focuses on tennis and squash, represents the growing customer base the spa has generated outside of its home base of Sunnyside and Woodside.
The new location is nearby, located by the 33rd Street/Rawson stop on the 7 line.
In a message to clients, owners Patrick and Regina Tunney, wrote the following:
Dear Valued Clients,
It has been an honor and pleasure to serve your health and beauty needs for the past decade in the neighborhood where we first started our lives in America. The Sunnyside/Woodside community will continue to hold a special place in our hearts and we are forever appreciative of the residents, local business owners and community leaders who supported the development of Pure Spa & Salon.
Our business has expanded over the past decade and we have developed a diverse client base to encompass people beyond Sunnyside and Woodside and to include those from other parts of Queens and even some from other boroughs.
Beginning of November, we will no longer be operating out of our Queens Boulevard location but will be more readily accessible to the majority of our clients at The City View Racquet Club which is located at the 33rd St./Rawson stop on the 7 line.
We will continue to honor valid gift certificates at our new location. We are enthused by the prospects of continuing to serve your needs and thank you for your continued support.
