The rapid sales of residences in a new luxury mixed-use development in Flushing is leading its developers to unveil the second phase of residential sales earlier than expected.
F&T Group and SCG America — the developers behind Tangram, a 1.2-million-square-foot, mixed-use development — announced that the first residential phase of the development is nearly sold out, with less than 5 percent of residences remaining within the building.
Situated in downtown Flushing, Tangram will bring a total of 320-plus luxury residences that are aesthetically rooted in Asian architecture and philosophy while being paired with Italian influences. The huge development has frontage on 37th Avenue, Prince Street, 39th Avenue and College Point Boulevard.
Tangram House South, which is located along 39th Avenue, was unveiled earlier this year and rapidly sold over 95 percent of the 192-residence building. Following the success of the sales at Tangram House South, the developers plan to unveil phase two of its residences by the end of the year.
“Due to the tremendous success at Tangram House South, which brought to market an elevated housing option never before seen in Flushing, we are planning to roll out sales for Tangram House West earlier than anticipated,” said Helen Lee, executive vice president of F&T Group. “While it will feature a different aesthetic than phase one, it will be just as thoughtfully designed and provide an equally generous and luxurious lifestyle.”
Sales for Tangram House West, the second residential tower in the development, are set to begin this winter. The 130-plus residence building located on College Point Boulevard boasts views of the city skyline or quiet garden views, depending on which side of the building you’re in.
The development will also feature a 200-plus key branded lifestyle hotel, 275,000 gross square feet of cutting-edge retail including themed restaurants and a culinary food hall and beer garden, plus a variety of entertainment options including a state-of-the-art 4DX movie theater.
