Forest Hills Branch, 108-19 71st Ave., presents Downpore, a hard-rock concert for adults/teens agers 18-30 by this local band whose members come from Astoria and Ozone Park on Sat., Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. They write all their own music and lyrics and have been attracting large crowds at Greenwich Village and other downtown Manhattan clubs. The Kocian String Quartet is featured in the third event of Music at Hillwood's season of concerts devoted to the musical heritage of Eastern Europe. The concert, on Sun., March 5, at 3 pm, is in the Hillwood Recital Hall at the Tilles Center.
