Farm Museum gets $100K for educational programs

A $100,000 grant for the Queens County Farm Museum assures another year of funding for dynamic programs at the museum, which half a million people visit each year, said Amy Fischetti, executive director.

The grant was provided by the Natural Heritage Trust, an Albany-based organization which funds cultural and historical institutions in New York state, she said.
