FLUSHING — A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the upper left side of his back following an argument at the Willet’s Point subway station after attending a carnival at the Shea Stadium parking lot Friday, police said.
Around 9:30 p.m. Transit officers responded to a report of gunshots fired and found a 16-year-old woman on the subway platform, who had been assaulted by five men, said Sgt. Richard Kemmler, a police spokesman.
While arresting the five men, officers heard more shots, and then found the victim who had been stabbed.
As of Tuesday, no charges had been filed for the stabbing. Charged with assaulting the woman were: Ray Quinonez, 20, of 135-30 82nd Dr.; Ceasoar Chabaz, 19, of 19-06 Ditmars Blvd.; Carim Johnson, 19, 40-13 12th St.; Jamel Peeples, 17, of 41-06 10th St.; and Barry Simpson, 18, of 40-04 10th St.
The 16-year-old was taken to Elmhurst and treated for face wounds, police said. The 19-year-old was taken to New York Hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Police said the investigation for the stabbing was continuing.
Underhill Avenue woman sees stab wounds on husband
Fresh Meadows — Around midnight Friday a 41-year-old man returned home to 164-47 Underhill Ave. from a store when his wife noticed he was bleeding from a stab wound to his chest, police said.
Caesar Sierra had not realized he was injured, said Sgt. Richard Kemmler, a police spokesman. Sierra was taken to Booth Memorial and listed in critical condition, said police.
An investigation was continuing.
25-year-old man shot on Springfield Boulevard
OAKLAND GARDENS — A 25-year-old man was shot at 9 Springfield Blvd. at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday after a dispute, police said.
The attacker fled in a white car, said Sgt. Richard Kemmler, a police spokesman. The victim, Machli Stphard, was taken to North Shore Hospital in stable condition, he said.
Man jumps to death in downtown Flushing
FLUSHING – A Flushing man jumped from a sixth-floor window to his death Tuesday evening, police said.
The man, 31, jumped from a building on Main Street near 39th Avenue and upon reaching the ground struck an idling Queens Surface bus, said Detective Madelyne Galindo, a police spokeswoman.
The man was taken to New York Hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.
Jamaica man charged in April 20 shooting
JAMAICA — A Jamaica man was arrested Monday in the April 20 shooting of a 26-year-old man in the leg in Jamaica, police said.
Jaitersaud Lalbehari, 21, of 91-17 173rd St. allegedly shot a man in the leg at 88-05 171 St. at about 11 p.m. April 20, said Officer Cheryl Cox, a police spokesman.
Two women struck on Queens Boulevard
WOODSIDE — Two women crossing Queens Boulevard at 40th Street were struck by a car that was broadsided by another car, police said.
The women and drivers received minor injuries and were taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where they were treated, said Officer George Jensen, a police spokesman. No summonses were issued.
