The New York Deliverance Gospel Temple at 219-36 Jamaica Ave., a 42,000-square-foot building between Springfield Boulevard and 220th Street close to the Long Island Rail Road station, “has several offers on it but the owner did not pull the trigger,” said Gashar Dixon, a sales associate for the Forest Hills-based Massey Knakal Realty Services.But he also said that the building's owner “probably will accept (an offer) in the next week,” noting that he was showing the property to a potential buyer on Friday. Dixon described the building as looking “pretty much like a theater” with an open ceiling, similar to buildings used for Broadway plays. The asking price for the church is $1.9 million, according to a real estate listing provided by the broker.
