Todd Belton of the New York City Fire Department’s Safety Education Unit conducted the program, which provided information to nearly 200 residents on common fire hazards, proper use of a fire extinguisher, installation and maintenance of smoke detectors and critical evacuation skills. Everyone who attended received a free First Alert Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Alarm.
