Getting a bargain when shopping is always a good thing, but not when it’s illegal.
Thirteen people were arrested after police raided a College Point factory on Monday, October 1 where they claim millions of dollars worth of counterfeit clothing was manufactured.
Each suspect faces various charges of trademark counterfeiting for allegedly making knock-off items with brand names such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and Fubu. The goods were estimated to be worth $4 million, according to cops.
