Simply email The Queens Courier at editorial@queenscourier.com and put Makeover Mom in the message field. Tell us why that mom is one-of-a-kind. Include a photo, jpeg format of at least 300 DPI, of the nominee and tell us just how great she is.
Three winners will receive a total makeover, including a consultation and color with Lois Christie herself.
Christie, CEO and hair color director, is also President of Intercoiffure America/Canada.
Her expert staff will then indulge the winners in an “Ultimate Day of Beauty,” which includes an image consult, a 10-Step Four Layer Facial with deep pore cleansing, anti-aging manicure and salt scrub pedicure, hair cut and styling and seasonal make-up application.
Additionally, the staff will provide a make-up lesson so that when the winners “leave us they just don’t look good for that day,” according to Christie.
The makeovers are “a good way to relieve tension,” said Christie. “This is our prize for people who deserve it.”
