FAR ROCKAWAY — Arverne resident Amanda Trujillo was arraigned Feb. 3 and charged with two counts of second-degree robbery in connection with a Jan. 23 drive-up mugging at the intersection of Beach 105th Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard, according to the Queens district attorney’s office.
Trujillo allegedly rode to the intersection in a green Jeep and jumped out with two other women, who have not been arrested, at about 2 p.m., according to the DA’s office. She and one of the other women then allegedly punched a woman repeatedly in the face, causing swelling in her face and cutting her hand, according to the DA’s office, and one of the other women then stole her cell phone and fled in the Jeep.
Trujillo was released on her own recognizance.
