A Brooklyn man was fatally shot on 109th Avenue on Thursday, August 5.
When police responded to 147-67 109th Avenue, they saw the victim, Damian Champell, 37, with gunshot wounds to the arm, head, and stomach. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrest(s) at this time. The investigation is going.
