QUEENSBRIDGE — Investigators were looking for a woman who they say robbed another female in a stairwell nearly three weeks ago.
The incident took place Oct. 9 around 9:40 p.m. at 41-03 10th St., police said.
The suspect, described as a black woman about 5 feet 2 inches with black, short, pulled-back hair, allegedly followed the victim into an elevator and, when the victim left, the suspect forced her into a stairwell at knifepoint, according to police.
The suspect then removed the victim’s wallet and fled, investigators said.
The fugitive was last seen wearing eye glasses, a white, long sleeve shirt with an abstract picture on the front, red pants and white sneakers, police said.
