To all registered voters in the 9th Congressional and 23 Assembly Districts:
I beseech you to get to your polling place on September 13 to select your candidate to fill these vacancies. Beware of the party which brags about cutting taxes and getting rid of “career” politicians.
Here is why:
Ask whose tax cuts they want. Is it for the privileged few at the top at the expense of deep cuts for health care, education and other public facilities and services? How will it affect your Social Security, now or in five or 10 years?
Do you really want an inexperienced candidate to win this election or one who has served for many years on various levels of government?
Both Democratic candidates have the experience we need in these critical times and for decades to come as the laws they make will affect not only us now, but our kids and grandkids. Absentee ballots are available if you can’t get to the polls. Dial 3-1-1 for assistance or call any one of your local representatives. Make our vote count.
