ROCHDALE — A 27-year old woman abandoned her baby at a Rochdale Burger King last week, the New York Post reported.
Police said Kimberly Burndidge left her 4-month-old baby on a bench in the fast food restaurant Dec. 7 around 11 p.m. and ran out despite being approached by employees, the Post reported.
She and the child’s father, 20-year-old Westley Kendall, were both charged with child abandonment, which could carry up to a four-year sentence, the Post reported, while their baby was handed over to the city Administration for Children’s Services.
