Sports Ridgewood Students on Madison Sq. Students at I.S. 93 in Ridgewood were honored guests at Madison Square Garden last Saturday afternoon, Feb. 4, as they were on hand to watch the St. John’s University Red Storm take on the Syracuse University Orange in a men’s college basketball showdown. As shown, some of the students and teachers from I.S. 93 took part in a halftime presentation on the basketball court organized by St. John’s and the National Grid Foundation’s Hoops for the Stars Program. Shown in the group photo with I.S. 93 representatives are Bob Keller, National Grid Foundation president; Stephen McCaffrey, the foundation’s chief counsel; and Rev. Dr. Gary V. Simpson of the foundation’s board of directors.
