Aarp Awards Eighth-graders In Glendale

For achieving high marks during the month of September

The Glendale AARP Chapter 4123 invited the winners of their annual essay contest to come to their Mar. 2 meeting at the Glendale Memorial Building. P.S./I.S. 119 eighth graders Kelly Luo (at left, holding plaque) and Damian Hajduczek (at right, with plaque) were awarded with a $50 check from Linda Morton, president of Glendale AARP, and a certificate of achievement from State Sen. Joseph Addabbo.
