Elmhurst Students See the State Capitol

Several pupils at Glendale’s Redeemer Lutheran School were honored for their achievements as Students of the Month for September. As noted

Youngsters from P.S. 19 in Elmhurst recently took a field trip to the State Capitol in Albany, where they got a chance to tour the state legislature and meet with lawmakers. Among the elected officials who welcomed them, who are shown with the students, were Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan, chair of the Assembly Education Committee, Assemblywoman Grace Meng, Assemblyman Francisco Moya and State Sen. Jose Peralta.
