Sought For Commercial Burglaries
The NYPD is searching for two suspects wanted for a series of Astoria burglaries in March, the agency reported.
The first incident occurred on Tuesday, Mar. 27. According to police reports, the suspects broke open the front door lock of a unisex salon at 22-05 35th St. and removed an undetermined amount of money.
Later that same night, the two suspects broke open the rear door lock of a Greek restaurant at 35-02 Ditmars Blvd. and took cash and computer equipment from the location.
The next day (Mar. 28) the suspects broke the side door lock of a bar at 34-19 30th Ave. and took the cash register.
Finally, on Friday, Mar. 30, the suspects broke the front door lock of an eatery at 32-02 30th Ave. and removed the register, an undetermined amount of money, checks and a motor scooter.
The suspects are described as two white or Hispanic males between 16 and 22 years old.
