The Metropolitan Transportation Authority begin four consecutive nights of maintenance Monday on N, Q and R subway lines.
Through Friday, June 21, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. there will be:
No subway service at N, Q and R stations in Manhattan.
N trains will run in Queens and Brooklyn only.
Q trains will operate in Brooklyn and be rerouted via the 6 Avenue D line in Manhattan to and from the 57th Street F station.
R service will end early in Manhattan and Queens.
Alternatives for straphangers:
Take nearby stations on 8th Avenue A and E; 7th Avenue 1 and 2; 6th Avenue D, F and Q; and Lexington Avenue 4 and 6 lines instead.
Take No. 7 for service between Queen and Manhattan.
Make transfers between services at Queensboro Plaza for 7 and N; 5th Avenue/42 Street/Bryant Park for 7, D, F and Q; Jay Street/Metro Tech for A, F and N and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center for 2, 4, D, N and Q.
