Police seeking suspect who swiped cash from Flushing restaurant register: NYPD

FLUSHING — A man walked into the Oceanica Restaurant in downtown Flushing last month and helped himself to the cash register, the NYPD said.

On May 11 at about 8:15 a.m. a man wearing blue and white striped pants, a gray baseball cap, a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a gray backpack entered the eatery, at 37-02 Main Street, and removed money from the register, police said.

No one was injured in the incident, but police have released an image of the suspect.
