Hail to the Students

Councilman Peter Vallone Jr. recently honored PS 122 students for their scores on New York state’s standardized tests. Pupils at the school in Astoria scored 71 percent at or above proficient in math and 69.7 percent at or above proficient in ELA – roughly 40 percent higher than both the city and state averages, Vallone said.
