Police are looking for a man who they say tried to rob a woman in Long Island City Sunday.
The suspect approached the 47-year-old victim near 44th Drive and 11th Street around 3:45 a.m., punched her in the face and attempted to steal her purse, said cops. He then fled without the handbag.
Minor injuries were reported as a result of the incident, said police.
