For their daily work to keep children safe near local schools, crossing guards assigned to the 104th Precinct were honored in a special way during a ceremony at the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council last Friday, May 16. Assemblyman Mike Miller presented citations to three crossing guards in particular: Linda Wachsmuth, Cathy Paz and Lisa Aimi. Other crossing guards working at schools located in the 104th Precinct’s confines received certificates of their own. Among those on hand to laud their efforts were Capt. Timothy Brown, executive officer of the 104th Precinct; Det. Thomas Bell of the 104th Precinct Community Affairs Unit; Deputy Inspector Michael Morley; and David Aglialoro, representing Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan. Miller is pictured with the crossing guards and distinguished guests.
