Ridgewood residents enjoyed the instrumental rock sounds of the band High North at Ridgewood Veterans Triangle last Saturday, June 21, as part of the citywide Make Music New York festival. As noted, the day-long festival featured over 1,300 free concerts of various genres held at city parks and plazas in all five boroughs. Performing as shown at the corner of Myrtle and Cypress avenues are Scott L. Mitzner on lead guitar (at right), Luke Bifulco on drums and Jeremy Nesse on bass guitar. For more information on High North’s performances, visit www.reverbnation.com/highnorth, or check their Facebook page, www.facebook.com/HighNorthSounds.
