Suspect wanted in shooting outside South Richmond Hill club

Police are looking for a suspect who they say shot a 28-year-old man during a dispute outside a South Richmond Hill club early Saturday morning.

At about 3:55 a.m., the victim was standing outside of Vue Sky Lounge, at 123-07 Liberty Ave., when the suspect approached him, cops said. The pair started arguing and the suspect allegedly fired his gun, hitting the victim once in the torso. The suspect, who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, then fled in a dark-colored SUV.

The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.

It was not immediately clear whether the shooter knew the victim or what exactly led to the dispute, police said.
