The Bayside Hills Civic Association is preparing to unveil the newly refinished Bayside Hills Clock this Sunday at 5 p.m., and is inviting everyone in the community to participate.
The clock, which once served as an iconic symbol in Bay Terrace and Bayside Hills, was long in disrepair, until Jay Koellner and other BHCA board members spearheaded the restoration project.
BHCA said it is expecting Borough President Melinda Katz and state Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D-Fresh Meadows) to be in attendance for the unveiling, which is scheduled to take place at the corner of Bell Boulevard Mall and 50th Avenue.
