Forest Hills school employee allegedly assaulted student: NYPD

FOREST HILLS — An employee of Russell Sage Junior HS in Forest Hills was arrested and charged in connection with assaulting a student last week, according to the NYPD.

Ching-Yi Chuang, 46, of Forest Hills, was charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child and assault, according to the police.

At about 11 a.m. Oct. 29, Chuang allegedly grabbed a 13-year-old girl’s arms at the school at 68-17 Austin St., causing redness and swelling, a police spokesman said.
