Kids will have to the chance to learn basketball fundamentals this winter at the Cougar Mid-Winter Basketball Clinic.
Martin Luther School (MLS), located at 60-02 Maspeth Ave. in Maspeth, will host the Cougar Mid-Winter Basketball Clinic this February for boys and girls ages 6 to 14. The program is a great way for young athletes to learn more about the game, all while having fun.
The one-week session will run from Feb. 15 through Feb. 19, 2016.
MLS’s Cougar Basketball Program emphasizes individual skills, basic fundamentals and team play in a positive coaching environment. Fundamentals include shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defensive techniques. Specific skills will be taught and practiced daily, with a focus on one main fundamental each day.
The cost of the one-week program is $185 per student athlete, and lunch will be provided each day.
