Police released on Thursday images of the getaway car used by two individuals wanted for murdering a 51-year-old Ozone Park man during a home invasion on Monday morning.

Authorities said the two perpetrators forced their way inside a home on Peconic Street near Lake Street just before 7:56 a.m. and became engaged in a physical altercation with a male individual, who managed to escape the residence.

Sources familiar with the investigation indicated that the invasion appears to be drug related.

During the home invasion, another resident at the home — Frankie Nieves — confronted the perpetrators, who shot him in the chest. The suspects were observed fleeing the scene in a white 2012-2015 BMW 528i with no front plate.

Officers from the 106th Precinct and EMS units responded to the home. Paramedics rushed Nieves to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The NYPD described one of the suspects as tall and stocky and the other being thin and short. Both were observed wearing dark clothing, hoods and ski masks.

The investigation is ongoing.
