The incident occurred on Feb. 22 at 4.30 a.m. when the 43-year old male victim met the female suspect nearby 82nd Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights.
Authorities said the victim agreed to go to the suspect’s room inside the Metro Motel at 73-00 Queens Blvd. in Woodside. Another suspect, a man, was waiting in the hotel room.
When the female suspect and the victim entered the hotel room, police said, the female suspect cut him on his hand with a knife and removed his cellphone as well as an undetermined amount of money. The two suspects then fled the room.
The victim was admitted to Elmhurst General Hospital where he was treated and released.
The male suspect had been identified as Adam Arenas, a 31-year-old Hispanic male, 5’8″ tall, weighing 165 pounds.
A photo of Arenas is from a 2015 arrest for petit larceny within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct.
