Police want to talk to a woman shown in a photo released Tuesday night who may be connected to 16 residential break-ins in Bellerose, Glen Oaks and Queens Village.
Authorities said the photo was grabbed from a security camera video obtained following the burglary of a home on 268th Street in Bellerose at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 25. The suspect(s) got in through a window and removed assorted jewelry.
The unidentified burglar(s) struck another 15 homes within the northern area of the 105th Precinct’s command between Feb. 20 and April 10, police said. Each of the break-ins occurred at various times of the day, with the suspect(s) gaining entry either through a window or door.
The crook(s) reportedly stole a wide variety of loot including cash, jewelry, electronic devices, computers, pocketbooks, handbags and, from one location, a passport.
Police also released a picture of a minivan that may have been used by the culprit(s) also shown in the Jan. 25 security camera footage.
