Cops are seeking a big man who attacked a female worker while robbing a laundromat in Richmond Hill earlier this month.

According to police, the robbery occurred at 10:55 p.m. on June 5 inside the Hong Kong Dry Cleaners located at 102-57 Jamaica Ave.

Law enforcement sources said the 58-year-old employee was removing cash from a change machine when the perpetrator — described as a heavy-set Hispanic male weighing 300 pounds with tattoos on his arm, wearing a black baseball cap and white sneakers — walked into the establishment and shoved her to the floor.

Police said he kicked the woman repeatedly, then took the cash in her possession — a reported sum of $3,000 — and fled the scene.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct and EMS units responded to the robbery. The victim was treated at Jamaica Hospital for a facial fracture and a swollen lip.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish speakers, dial 888-57-PISTA), visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
