Less is more for Ridgewood.
After the ABC Superstore located at 66-73 Fresh Pond Rd. closed down earlier this year, residents were curious to know what would fill the vacant storefront in their neighborhood.
Well that curiosity can be put to rest as Lot-Less Closeouts will be opening soon in that location, according to signage posted in the store window.
Lot-Less Closeouts is a retail chain with 10 locations across New York and New Jersey that will bring the customers in Ridgewood some big savings by providing brand-name merchandise at up to 80 percent off original retail and department store prices.
Last week on Aug. 11, the building was approved for a work permit from the Department of Buildings (DOB) to create a new partition and front door, while not making any changes to the bulk, use, egress or occupancy of the building.
Lot-Less Closeouts is also looking for employees with retail experience to work at the new Ridgewood location. They are currently hiring for stock associates, sales floor employees, security personnel and cashiers.
QNS reached out to Lot-Less Closeouts for comment on the Ridgewood location and is awaiting a reply.
