For 32 consecutive weeks following the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Times Newsweekly published the Lost List column.

Maintained by then-reporter Rob MacKay, it was an alphabetical listing of victims who lived in or had ties to Queens who died at the World Trade Center or the Pentagon, or on United Airlines Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pa. The names included biographical information provided to the paper by the victims’ families.

As the city and nation mark the 15th anniversary of 9/11, QNS presents the Lost List as it was re-printed on Thursday, Sept. 8, in The Courier and the Ridgewood Times. The list appears largely as it did in its final publication in April 2002, with appropriate updates made. The revised list includes the name, age, neighborhood and employment information of each victim.

Additional information on the victims was obtained from the official website of the National September 11 Memorial.
