Pair claims they have gun and steals pre-teen’s cell phone in Ozone Park robbery

Cops are on the lookout for two males wanted for robbing a pre-teen of his cell phone in Ozone Park last week.

According to police, the 12-year-old male victim was walking near the intersection of South Conduit Avenue and 79th Street at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, when he was approached by the two unidentified male suspects.

The suspects informed the victim that they had a gun and demanded he give up his cell phone, law enforcement agents said. The victim complied with the duo’s demands and handed over the device. The pair then fled on foot in an unknown direction with the iPhone 7 Plus.

Officers from the 106th Precinct responded to the incident and no injuries were reported.

Police have described one of the suspects as a black male, wearing a dark t-shirt, and gray shorts; and the other suspect as a black male wearing a black t-shirt, a black baseball cap, and camouflage shorts.
