A teenage girl was found unconscious and in her underwear near a Woodside warehouse early Sunday morning and now the NYPD’s special victims unit is investigating the case as a possible sex crime. Police were called to 46-21 70th St. near 47th Avenue where the 16-year-old was discovered unresponsive on a sidewalk around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police said she was intoxicated after leaving a party and was found wearing just a bra and panties with bruises and scratches on her neck and back. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where she regained consciousness early Monday, authorities said.

There have been no arrests and the investigation was continuing, according to the NYPD.
