Flushing all-boys Catholic high school adds two female employees to admissions team prior to integration

As Holy Cross High School prepares to welcome young women at the start of the 2018 school year, the all-boys Flushing high school announced two new employees to its admissions/enrollment team: Andrea Aloi and Lisa Sanzo.

In May, Holy Cross High School announced that the Board of Corporate Members unanimously voted to accept the recommendation of the Board of Directors to begin welcoming females as students at the school.

Aloi will be placed in the newly-created positon of Assistant Director for the Admissions/Enrollment team at Holy Cross beginning in early August.

She has built a career using her degrees in Psychology from Long Island University and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and has worked as an Admissions Recruiter for post-secondary education. Aloi is also the parent of two daughters and a son who attend a co-ed Catholic high school on Long Island.

Sanzo will be joining Aloi on the Admissions/Enrollment team as the newly-created Admissions Coordinator.

Sanzo recently earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Long Island University, and brings a successful high school experience in Queens focused on solid academics and success in leading extracurricular activities for young women.

As part of their mission, Holy Cross High School embraces students who reflect social and economic diversity, and will soon add young woman to their diverse student body.
