A new supermarket will be opening this week in Long Island City, just one block away from Queensboro Plaza.

Olives Organic Market, located at 42-37 27th Street, will open this Thursday, according to Rafik Almamlouh, the owner of the supermarket.

The 2,879 square-foot supermarket, as its name suggests, will hold a variety of organic and conventionally grown products, and will also feature a juice bar, a salad bar, and 13 seats for patrons to sit and eat.

The supermarket also offers free Wi-Fi, and has a bakery and a large deli section.

Almamlouh, 43, is expecting a 10:00 a.m. opening for the supermarket on Thursday, but will operate 24 hours a day, seven days-a-week, beginning next week.

Almamlouh is also the owner of several supermarkets across New York City.

The corner supermarket is part of Ivy 28, an eight-story condominium complex built in 2014 by Queens Plaza 27 LLC.

Update 08/09/2017: The supermarket has opened one day earlier than anticipated.
