Enjoy some fall fun for a good cause in Bayside this weekend.
St. Mary’s Hospital for Children will host its inaugural Autumn Festival on its grounds this Sunday. All proceeds will benefit the healthcare center, which provides long-term and rehabilitative care to children with special needs and medically complex conditions.
Activities at the event include pumpkin decorating, face painting, temporary tattoos, arts and crafts and carnival games. There will also be a DJ and multiple live performances at the event, including a show by students from the Queens High School for the Sciences.
Panera Bread is catering the event. Attendees can also enjoy food from a hot dog cart and popcorn and cotton candy machines and purchase sweet treats from a bake sale.
The Autumn Festival will run from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Oct. 1 and will take place rain or shine. Admission is $10 for individuals and $35 for families; admission prices come with tickets to use for activities.
