Police are searching for a woman who helped herself to over a hundred thousand dollars’ worth of cardiology and office equipment in Bayside this summer.
On Friday, July 14, at around 5:15 p.m., an unidentified individual entered the NY Premier Cardiology office, located at 210-12 Northern Blvd., and removed approximately $140,000 worth of medical equipment from the location. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction in a white SUV.
An employee of the business told police they locked the doors and gate at the location upon closing, but returned to discover the equipment had been stolen, an NYPD spokesperson said. There were no visible signs of tampering.
Among the stolen equipment is an echo cardiogram machine, computer tower, EKG machine, ABI PUR cardio machine, handheld vascular doppler, Holter monitor, paper shredder, two laptops and seven printer toners, police said.
The suspect is described as a female with a light complexion, last seen wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and a light-colored, long-sleeved shirt.
The incident was reported to the 111th Precinct.
