If cooking up a Thanksgiving feast sounds intimidating, a restaurant in Astoria wants to do the cooking for you.

Salt & Bone, a smokehouse at 32-07 30th Ave., is rolling out its “Friendsgiving” menu where customers can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal at the restaurant or have it delivered to enjoy with family and friends.

The restaurant opened up earlier this year and offers barbecue with a Texas twist. The special menu will include items like three-hour smoked turkey that is sliced and covered in butter sauce, 14-hour smoked brisket and salt and pepper smoked pork.

All the meat at Salt & Bone is humanely raised, antibiotic-free and sourced from local farms.

Side offerings include brioche stuffing with beef and sausage, wood-fire baked sweet potato with maple sour cream, bacon topped with toasted marshmallow and mac ‘n’ cheese in a  jalapeño cheese sauce. Dessert will include apple and pumpkin pie.

The meats will cost $14 to $16 for a half pound and sides and desserts will set you back $7. The restaurant is also offering home deliveries on Nov. 22 for $10. To place an order, email catering@saltandbone.com or call at 516-441-7894.

“This restaurant has always been based on our community and we want to make sure that everyone in the neighborhood has a place to have the most essential meal of the year,” said owner Euripides Pelekanos in a statement.
