Man wanted for setting car ablaze on Little Neck street in the early morning

Cops have released the photo of a man who they believe torched an SUV on a Little Neck street last month.

Benjamin Colon, 32, is wanted for perpetrating the crime, according to posters that the 111th Precinct distributed throughout the area.

On Oct. 21 at around 4:55 a.m., law enforcement sources said, the suspect allegedly lit a 2004 Jeep Wrangler on fire in the vicinity of 249th Street and 34th Avenue. Police believe Colon fled the scene in a black 2008 Ford model car.

Police officials could not confirm whether the suspect knew the owner of the vehicle.

Colon is described as a white or Hispanic male, standing 5 foot 7 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
