Cops cuffed Queens’ very own package-stealing “Grinch” earlier this week.
Eric Rodriguez, 25, of 77th Street in Woodhaven was arrested on Dec. 4 and charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, law enforcement sources said.
According to police, Rodriguez was linked to 12 incidents throughout the command of the 107th Precinct, which covers areas of Fresh Meadows, Pomonok and Kew Gardens Hills.
All packages were returned to their rightful owners, according to the 107th Precinct’s Twitter. The precinct’s Anti-Crime Division was responsible for the arrest.

Package theft is a well-known crime trend during the holiday season. Police suggest homeowners choose a shipping option that requires a signature for delivery or leave special instructions on where to deliver the package.
Homeowners are also encouraged to ship their package to another location if they know they will not be home to receive it. Residents can ship packages to their office, neighbor or friend’s home, or set up a mailbox at the post office or a local shipping store.
Those who live in an apartment building are encouraged to set up a system with neighbors to hold packages, rather than have them sit in a common area.
