Police have released video footage of two men who robbed a teenager of his backpack on the streets of Hollis last month.
At 9 a.m. on Dec. 8, law enforcement sources said, a 15-year-old male exited the Q76 bus in the area of Francis Lewis Boulevard and Hillside Avenue when he was approached from behind by two unknown individuals.
When the suspects reached the victim, authorities noted, they forcibly removed his backpack, which contained the victim’s personal items. Following the altercation, the suspects fled on foot.
The incident was reported to the 107th Precinct; the victim was not injured.
Police described one of the suspects as a black man in his early twenties and was last seen wearing a green hooded sweat jacket and tan overcoat. The other perpetrator was described as a male in his early twenties and was last seen wearing all black clothing.
