A Jamaica man has pleaded guilty to forcing a young girl into having sex with him and then pimping her out to various men for cash that he then pocketed back in 2016, prosecutors announced.
Reagan “Flex” Conception, 29, entered a guilty plea last week to one count of sex trafficking. He is due back in court for sentencing on May 9, where Acting Queens Supreme Court Justice Peter Vallone indicated he would sentence Conception to an indeterminate term of six to 12 years in prison.
According to Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown, Conception admitted that between September and November of 2016, he forced a then 14-year-old girl into engaging in prostitution acts with other men for money. Conception threatened and physically assault her whenever she did not comply.
Prosecutors said that Conception would take from the victim whatever money she made from the sex acts. He also forced the victim to have sex with him on multiple occasions.
“The defendant profited from prostitution by forcing a teenage girl into having sex dates with men for money,” Brown said on April 12. “Luckily, this young girl was freed but unfortunately she will have to live with this horrible experience for the rest of her life. Prostitution is not a victimless crime and sex trafficking is an incessant act of brutality and degradation. The sentence imposed today by the court punishes the defendant for his criminal acts.”
